Short answerGoogle Ads has no price list. You set an average daily budget, and Google charges per click through an auction, so the price depends on the search and your competitors. Google can spend up to twice your daily budget on a busy day, but for most campaigns it won't charge more than 30.4 times it in a month. What one enquiry costs is the number to watch.
Many “Google Ads cost in Nepal” answers give you a table of click prices by industry, without saying where the numbers came from. We won’t do that. Click prices change by the week, by the search and by who else is bidding, so a table copied into a blog is out of date before you read it.
What doesn’t change is how Google charges, and the maths that tells you whether the ads pay. That’s what this guide covers: what a budget really spends, whether USD 10 a day is enough, and what one enquiry costs, in rupees, with Google’s own rules quoted. If you’d rather hand it over, our Google Ads agency in Nepal runs it for you and pays Google for you, so you pay in rupees.
How much does Google Ads cost in Nepal?
There’s no price list. You choose an average daily budget for each campaign, and Google spends it on clicks. Each click is priced in an auction against the other businesses bidding on the same search, at the moment it’s typed.
Two rules from Google’s help pages decide what you’ll actually be charged:
A single day can cost up to twice your daily budget, “for most campaigns”, so Google can catch the busy days.
A month never costs more than 30.4 times your daily budget, for most campaigns. (30.4 is the average number of days in a month.)
So here’s what common budgets really mean:
Average daily budget
Most Google may spend in one day
Most it may charge in a month
Rs 500
Rs 1,000
Rs 15,200
Rs 1,000
Rs 2,000
Rs 30,400
Rs 2,000
Rs 4,000
Rs 60,800
Rs 5,000
Rs 10,000
Rs 1,52,000
Plan with the monthly column, not the daily one. That’s the number your card, or your agency’s bill, will show. (We use rupees to keep it simple. If your account runs in dollars, the same rules apply to the dollar amounts.)
What decides the price of a click
Your bid is the most you’re willing to pay for one click. Google says what you actually pay “is often less”. Three things push the price up or down:
How many businesses want the same search. A popular search that many businesses chase usually has more bidders than a narrow, local one. More bidders, higher prices.
How good your ad and page are. Google’s auction page says an advertiser with more relevant keywords, ads and assets can “win a higher position at a lower price” than a competitor bidding more. Quality is a discount.
How specific the search is. Broad searches (“laptop”) attract students, researchers and buyers alike. Specific ones (“buy dell laptop kathmandu”) often cost less per buyer, even when the click costs more.
That’s why two businesses in the same trade can pay very different amounts for the same customer.
Work it out: what will one enquiry cost?
Here’s the maths to do before you spend a rupee. These are example numbers for a language institute in Kathmandu, not real prices: use your own once you have them.
Daily budget: Rs 1,000. The monthly ceiling is Rs 30,400.
Average price of a click: say Rs 40. That’s about 760 clicks a month.
How many visitors enquire (a call, a WhatsApp message or a form): say 5 in 100. That’s about 38 enquiries.
Cost per enquiry: Rs 30,400 ÷ 38 = Rs 800.
How many enquiries become students: say 1 in 4. So one student costs Rs 3,200 in ads.
Is Rs 3,200 good? Only your numbers can say. Our rule of thumb: a customer won through ads should cost under about 30% of what they pay you. At Rs 3,200, a student should be worth more than about Rs 10,700 to the institute. A Rs 25,000 course? Comfortably. A Rs 3,000 crash class? No.
Now notice which steps you control. Step 2 you mostly don’t. Steps 3 and 5 you do: a faster page, a clearer offer and a quicker reply can double enquiries from the same clicks, which halves the cost of each one.
Is USD 10 a day enough for Google Ads?
It’s one of the most asked questions about Google Ads, so let’s put it in rupees. At NRB’s selling rate on 21 October 2026 (Rs 152.19 per dollar):
USD 10 a day is about Rs 1,520.
The most a month can cost is 30.4 × USD 10 = USD 304, about Rs 46,270.
An ordinary dollar card (USD 500 a year) covers that for about 7 weeks. Then it’s empty until next year.
Whether it’s enough depends on the price of a click, not the budget. Our rule of thumb: a daily budget should buy at least 20 clicks a day, or a month passes before you can tell good ads from bad ones.

How to see real click prices for your own searches
Google’s Keyword Planner shows, for the searches you type, an estimate of monthly searches and the bid range for the top of the page. It’s the best free source of click prices before you spend, because it comes from Google’s own auction.
There’s a Nepal-specific catch. Google’s help page says you must complete your account setup, including billing information, before you can use it. So you need a card that pays abroad, usually a dollar card, even to look.
Once you’re in:
Open Tools → Keyword Planner → Get search volume and forecasts.
Paste 10 to 20 searches your customers really type, in English and Romanised Nepali.
Set the location to Nepal, or to your city.
Read the monthly searches and the top-of-page bid ranges. Write them down with the date.
If very few people search for what you sell, that’s useful too. It means Google Ads isn’t your first channel yet.
Ad spend vs the management fee
When someone runs your ads, there are two separate costs:
Ad spend, paid to Google. You set it, it goes to Google, and every rupee shows in your account.
The management fee, paid to the person or agency running it.
Before you sign anything, ask:
Is the fee a fixed amount, or a percentage of ad spend?
Who owns the Google Ads account?
What gets reported every month: clicks, or enquiries and customers?
A percentage fee grows when spend grows, whether results do or not. And the account should always be in your business’s name.
Is Google Ads worth it in Nepal?
It is when people already search for what you sell, your page works on a phone and someone answers fast. To be honest, it’s the wrong first step when:
Nobody searches for what you sell yet. Search ads can only catch searches that exist. New products usually start on Facebook and Instagram, where you can reach people who don’t know to search yet (our Facebook ads cost guide covers that side).
Your page is slow or confusing on a phone. You’d pay for every visitor who leaves. Our guide to website traffic with no leads lists the nine usual leaks.
Nobody answers the phone. A search ad often brings a call within minutes. If it rings out, you paid for nothing.
Your margin per customer is tiny. If a customer is worth Rs 800 to you, few searches will ever be cheap enough.
How to pay for Google Ads from Nepal
Google says the payment methods you can use depend on your business address and the account’s currency. Unless your card allows international payments, the usual options are a prepaid dollar card (an ordinary individual can load up to USD 500 a year under NRB’s long-standing rule; IT businesses and foreign-currency earners can get more since April 2026) or an agency that pays Google and bills you in rupees. Our dollar card guide compares the banks and the alternatives.
The short version
Google Ads costs whatever budget you set. A busy day can cost twice the daily budget, but for most campaigns a month never costs more than 30.4 times it.
Click prices come from an auction. Only Keyword Planner shows real ones for your searches, and Google asks for billing details before it opens.
The number that matters is cost per enquiry, then cost per customer. A faster page and a quicker reply lower it more than any bid.

Frequently asked questions

As much as you set. Google's monthly limit is 30.4 times your average daily budget for most campaigns, so a Rs 1,000-a-day budget can spend up to about Rs 30,400 in a month. On top of that comes any management fee, if someone runs the ads for you.
How much does one click cost on Google Ads in Nepal?

Can Google spend more than my daily budget?
Yes, on some days. Google can spend up to two times your average daily budget on a single day for most campaigns, to catch busy days, but it won't charge more than 30.4 times your daily budget in a month.
Is USD 10 a day enough for Google Ads in Nepal?

Is Google Ads worth it for a small business in Nepal?

How do I pay for Google Ads from Nepal?
